Azerbaijan starts buying green tea from one more country

In January 2022, 13.96 tons of green tea worth $81,710 were imported to Azerbaijan from abroad.

According to the Report’s calculations based on the data of the State Statistics Committee, compared to the same period last year, imports increased in value terms by 45.5%, in quantitative terms - by 68.7%.

During the reporting period, 10.17 tons of products were purchased from China for $32,190, 2.28 tons for $25,310 from Russia, 510 kg for $11,240 from Turkiye, 800 kg for $8,480 from UAE, 70 kg for $1,560 from Germany

In January, Azerbaijan purchased green tea from Uzbekistan for the first time in 11 years (official statistics on foreign trade in open access since 2011). From this country, 10 kg of products were delivered for $10.
