Azerbaijan resumes tobacco import from China

During the first 11 months of 2022 Azerbaijan imported 4,046 tons of tobacco worth $66.815 million.

Report informs, citing the State Statistics Committee, that the figure is 11% higher in cost and 4.6% lower in volumes compared to the same period of 2021.

In the reporting period, Azerbaijan purchased 1,542 tons (+18 times) worth $28.187 million (43-fold growth) from Türkiye, 756.34 tons worth $16,983 million from Uzbekistan, 1,094 tons (-73.3%) worth $16.284 million (-73%) from the United States.
