Azerbaijan resumes fig exports from Luxembourg

Azerbaijan imported 49 tons of figs (fresh or dried) worth $198,730 in January-October 2022, respectively, 7.6% and 3% less than the previous year, Report informs, citing the State Statistical Committee.
In the reporting period, the country imported 48.31 tons (-7%) of figs worth $194,480 (-3%) from Turkiye, 590 kg (-36%) worth $2,550 (-7%) from Iran, 90 kg (+80%) worth $870 (+2.6 times) from Brazil, and 10 kg (-66.7%) worth $170 (-57.5%) from Germany.
After 3 years and 11 months, Azerbaijan resumed imports from Luxembourg (40 kg worth $670).
