Azerbaijan resumes cacao imports from Indonesia

Azerbaijan imported 783 tons of cacao worth $2.699 million in January-August 2022, respectively, up 14% and 19.5% from the previous year, Report informs, citing the State Statistical Committee.
In the reporting period, the country imported 542.95 tons (+2.6%) of cacao worth $1.976 million (+10.8%) from Turkiye, 121.12 tons (+2.6 times) worth $237,720 (+96%) from the Netherlands, 58.47 tons (-32%) worth $212,130 (-8.1%) from Russia, 45 tons (+5 times) worth $71,890 (+5.5 times) from China, 23.6 tons (+73 times) worth $68,920 (+30 times) from Côte d'Ivoire.
After a year and two months, Azerbaijan imported 17.63 tons of cacao worth $30,140 from Indonesia.
