Azerbaijan more than tripled cotton exports in September

In January-August 2024, Azerbaijan exported 100,485.55 tons of cotton fiber worth $151.61 million, Report informs, citing the State Statistical Committee.
Compared to the same period in 2023, the value of exported products increased by 71%, while the volume increased by 2.1 times.
In September, the country exported 8,912.2 tons of cotton fiber worth $12.26 million, which is 2.4 times and 3.2 times higher respectively compared to the same period last year.
In the nine months of 2024, Azerbaijan exported main non-oil products worth $2.08 billion. This is 4.2% less compared to the same period in 2023. Propylene accounts for 3.75% of Azerbaijan's main non-oil product exports.
