Azerbaijan doubles apple exports

In January-February 2023, Azerbaijan exported 15,942 tons (2.1 times more year-on-year) of apples for $10.2 million (2.1 times more YoY), Report informs, citing the country’s State Statistics Committee.

During the reporting period, Azerbaijan exported 15,147 tons (+2.1 times) of apples to Russia for $9.9 million (+2 times), 523.1 tons (+5.2 times) to Kazakhstan for $166,400 (+4.3 times), 147.6 tons (no deliveries a year ago) to Uzbekistan for %95,300, 83.4 tons to Türkiye for $39,200, 41 tons (no deliveries a year ago) to Belarus for $36,500.

Russia received 93.7% (among 15 countries) of Azerbaijan’s 82,300 tons of apple exports in 2022.
