Series of events held in Georgia to mark Heydar Aliyev's 101st birthday anniversary

The 101st anniversary of the birth of the founder of the modern independent state of Azerbaijan, the National Leader Heydar Aliyev is being celebrated in Georgia with a series of events, Report informs.

On May 10, the ambassador of Azerbaijan to Georgia, Faig Guliyev, the embassy staff, the head of the Georgian representation of SOCAR, Mahir Mammadov, Azerbaijani businessmen, journalists, public representatives and schoolchildren visited the monument of the National Leader in the park named after Heydar Aliyev in Tbilisi.

Besides, Heydar Aliyev's monument in Rustavi was also visited.

In both cities, wreaths and bunches of flowers were arranged in front of the bust of the Great Leader, and his memory was commemorated with respect.
