Azerbaijani President receives delegation from Indonesia

Baku. 5 June. REPORT.AZ/ President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has received a delegation led by Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources of the Republic of Indonesia Sudirman Said.

The head of state said bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Indonesia in political field were at a high level, and stressed the importance of the fact that the two countries constantly support each other in international organizations. The President of Azerbaijan hailed cooperation in oil sector and large trade between the two countries as a good indicator of the ties. President Ilham Aliyev said there were good opportunities for further developing bilateral relations in economic, energy, trade and other fields.

Minister Sudirman Said greeted the head of state on behalf of President of the Republic of Indonesia Joko Widodo.

It was emphasized that the visit of the delegation led by the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources of Indonesia created a good opportunity for discussing the issues related to the development of cooperation in economic, energy, oil-gas and other fields.

The sides stressed the role of high level reciprocal visits in strengthening the bilateral relations.

The head of state thanked for the greetings of President Joko Widodo, and asked Sudirman Said to extend his greetings to the Indonesian President.
