Paraguayan Parliament adopts resoluton supporting territorial integrity of Azerbaijan

Baku. 22 September. REPORT.AZ/ The Chamber of Deputies, the lower house of Paraguayan National Congress adopted a declaration recognizing territorial integrity and internationally recognized borders of the Republic of Azerbaijan. 

Report was told in the press service of Azerbaijani Ministry of Foreign Affairs. 

According to information, the resolution, which was adopted at the plenary session of the Chamber of Deputies of the National Congress once again confirmed that Nagorno Karabakh is part of Azerbaijan, says that Armenia has occupied Azerbaijani territory, and as a result of military operations of the Armed Forces of Armenia, thousands of people were killed, captured and missed and displaced.

Resolution of the Chamber of Deputies of the National Congress reaffirms respect for the sovereignty, territorial integrity and internationally recognized borders of Azerbaijan, calls for the settlement of the Armenian-Azerbaijani Nagorno-Karabakh conflict in accordance with Security Council resolutions 822, 853, 874 and 884 of the Security Council of the United Nations and relevant documents of the UN General Assembly.

The resolution declares that, the Chamber of Deputies shares the pain of people who are victims of the conflict and expresses the importance of coexistence in peace, respect for human rights and dialogue in line with the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
