Baku. 26 January. REPORT.AZ/ The regular session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) starts today in Strasbourg. Report informs, deputies are to hold debates about the terrorist attacks in Paris and the situation in Ukraine during the session.
The elections in Moldova and Tunisia, a debate on the humanitarian situation regarding refugees and internally displaced persons from Ukraine, the protection of media freedom in Europe, the rights of people with disabilities, the implementation of the Memorandum of Understanding between the Council of Europe and the EU are also to be discussed during the session.
The Irish President Michael D. Higgins is to speak at the session, and the president of the European Commission, Jean-Claude Juncker is to address to PACE deputies on January 29.
Session completes on January 30.
