Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev offers his condolences to Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan

Baku. 18 February. REPORT.AZ/ Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has offered his condolences to the Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan in connection with terror attack in Ankara, which resulted with killing of 28 and injuring 61. 

Report informs, the letter of condolences reads as below: 

"Dear Mr. President,

Dear Brother,

I was deeply saddened by the news of loss of lives and injuries as a result of a terror attack in the city of Ankara.

We are resolutely condemning terrorism, which has become evil for humanity, and supporting any kind of struggle against it. This ruthless event once more underlined the necessity of jointly fighting against terrorism.

We share your grief over this tragedy. On behalf of the people of Azerbaijan and on my own behalf, I extend deepest condolences to bereaved families, loved ones of those who died and the brotherly people of Turkey, and wish the injured swiftest possible recovery.

May Allah rest the souls of the dead in peace!
