Ambassador: Pakistan is interested in cooperation with Azerbaijan in energy infrastructure

Baku. 19 February. REPORT.AZ/ Pakistan and Azerbaijan could cooperate in the field of energy infrastructure.

Report was told by the Pakistani Ambassador to Azerbaijan Khalid Usman Gayser.

The Ambassador noted the existing potential for cooperation in various fields and urged Pakistanis to invest in Azerbaijan and joint ventures. However, the ambassador expressed his dissatisfaction with the fact that serious steps not taken in this area. H. Gayser noted that he is working in this direction.

Talking about the cooperation in the military sphere, the Ambassador noted that, two countries to share experiences and preparing military personnel.

Commenting on the cooperation in the humanitarian sphere H. Gayser said that Azerbaijan's independence has evolved from a country receiving aid, in a country that provides this assistance.

In this regard, the Ambassador noted the role of First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva and headed by her Heydar Aliyev Foundation. H. Gayser reminded that, school was built with the support of the Fund in the hard hit by the earthquake Muzaffarabad and people affected by severe flooding a few years ago were given humanitarian aid.

For all these merits, Mehriban Aliyeva was awarded the highest order of Pakistan, thus becoming the first foreigner to be awarded this prize.
