Amount of insurance payments increased by 78% in Azerbaijan

Baku. 1 July. REPORT.AZ/ In Azerbaijan, the insurance companies - members of the Bureau of Compulsory Insurance (BCI) have implemented insurance payments on "Compulsory insurance of civil liability of vehicle owners" (CTP) on 1758 insurance claims totaling 2.2 million manats in June of this year.

Report informs referring to the BCI, in whole, in January-June of this year, insurance companies paid for the type of insurance insurance 11,899,000 manats. The volume of insurance payments decreased by 6% in comparison with the same period of last year.

In June, BCI paid compensation in the amount of 19.8 thousand manats for 7 demands, in January-June by 34 demands, in sum of 130.1 thousand manats.

During the first half of this year, the amount of compensation in comparison with the same period of last year increased by 78%.
