BHOS Students start to practice at the Oil Refinery named after Heydar Aliyev

Baku. 8 July. REPORT.AZ/ Students of the 2nd and 3rd years of Baku Higher Oil School (BHOS) enrolled in the specialty "chemical engineer" during summer practical training will visit Oil Refinery named after Heydar Aliyev. Thus, the practice at the plant will be held for 53 students of BHOS, including 25 students of the third course in two months will be held a paid practice.

Report informs referring to the department for public relations of BHOS, the event, which was held in this regard, was attended by students of BHOS and delegation headed by the rector of BHOS, Elmar Gasimov. First, as a sign of respect was paid to the memory of national leader Heydar Aliyev and were laid flowers to his bust in the courtyard of the factory.

At the event was shown a short film, which tells the history of the refinery. In his opening speech, Director General of the refinery, Elman Ismayilov expressed his satisfaction with the stay and guide of BHOS students. E. Ismayilov noted the big role of this practice for students in shaping their future as a professional engineering staff. Speaking about the importance of the profession, he said that this profession is a nice branch. E. Ismayilov also expressed confidence that in the future students of BHOS as a highly qualified workforce will be attracted to the activity of the plant. He wished them every success for the upcoming practices at the plant.

BHOS Rector Elmar Gasimov noted the important role in the history of Azerbaijan industry of the Refinery named after Heydar Aliyev, one of the largest and leading companies in the sector of fuel of the Azerbaijan Republic. He recalled the invaluable merits of national leader Heydar Aliyev in the establishment of this factory. At the same time, he noted the importance of the plant for SOCAR. E.Gasimov added that, the students acquired theoretical knowledge will be applied in practice. He stressed that the knowledge acquired by students during practice at the plant, will give great impetus to the formation of their future as a highly-qualified specialists. 

Rector thanked the leadership of SOCAR and the conditions created for the plant and advised the students to be responsible during practice and wished them success.
