Photo exhibition on Heydar Aliyev and Azerbaijani Jews opened in Israel

In connection with the 20th anniversary of the death of Heydar Aliyev, the founder of the modern Azerbaijan state, a photo exhibition titled "Heydar Aliyev and the Jews of Azerbaijan" was opened in the Azerbaijan Cultural Center in Israel, Report informs citing the State Committee for Work with Diaspora.

Director of the Azerbaijan Cultural Center Yegana Salman, who opened the event with an introductory speech, spoke in detail about the exhibition reflecting the life path of the outstanding political and statesman Heydar Aliyev, the various stages of his political activity, as well as the contribution of Azerbaijani citizens of Jewish nationality to various spheres of life in her country.

The artistic part of the event featured songs and poetry performed by journalist Lyudmila Kiseleva and poet Mikhail Salman.
