On March 15, Turkey is changing the rules for the entry of foreigners into the country, Report informs with reference to the Association of Tour Operators of Russia (ATOR).

Now tourists need to fill out a special online questionnaire.

The Turkish Health Ministry is canceling the requirement to fill out a paper questionnaire to control coronavirus spread on all flights to Turkey. An exception will be made for guests traveling in transit: they will be allowed to fill out the document on board.

According to the new rules for tourists, now all arrivals - including citizens of Turkey - will have to fill out the form on the Health Ministry website 72 hours before entering the country. The document will need to be both printed and downloaded to an electronic device (smartphone or tablet).

The document will need to be presented to the airline staff at the airport of departure.

When registering on the Turkish Health Ministry website, the system requires entering information about a working mobile phone. After that, the program will give the visitor a HES-code. It is necessary to move around the country, check into hotels, and visit some facilities and events.
