Tourist flow to Azerbaijan rises by 4%

In January 2025, 172,653 foreign citizens and stateless persons visited Azerbaijan, marking a 4% increase year-on-year, Report informs, citing the country’s State Tourism Agency.
During the reporting period, most of the tourists came from Russia (41,490). Türkiye ranked second (31,632), followed by India (17,073).
In particular, 15,000 tourists came from Iran, 8,700 from Georgia, 6,100 from Saudi Arabia, 5,500 from Kazakhstan, 5,400 from the United Arab Emirates, 5,200 from Pakistan, 3,700 from Kuwait, 2,900 from Uzbekistan, 2,800 from Turkmenistan, 2,600 from China, 2,400 from Ukraine and 2,000 from Israel.
