Tourist flow from China to Azerbaijan up by 76%

In June of this year, Azerbaijan was visited by 237,509 tourists from foreign countries, which is 11% less than in the same month last year.

According to Report, citing the State Tourism Agency, the largest number of tourists last month came from Russia — 73,415 people (-11%). Türkiye ranked second (40,326 people, +5%), and Iran third (15,297 people, -11%).

In addition, during the month, the country was visited by 10,300 tourists from Saudi Arabia (-29%), 9,900 from Kazakhstan (+11%), 9,900 from India (-65%), 8,000 from Georgia (-10%), 7,900 from Pakistan (+4%), 7,200 from China (+76%), 5,000 from Uzbekistan (+17%), 3,400 from Israel (-18%), 3,300 from Ukraine (-1%), 3,000 from South Korea (+4%), 2,900 from the USA (+22%), 2,700 from Turkmenistan (+12%)
