Tourism sector will grow by over 6% in Azerbaijan

Baku. 13 November. REPORT.AZ/ In 2018, Azerbaijan's tourism sector is forecasted to grow by 6.6%, and over 6% in next 3 years.

Report informs, Deputy Minister of Economy Sevinj Hasanova said at today's discussion of the draft law on state budget for 2018 at Milli Majlis with the joint participation of the Committees on Legal Policy and State Building, on Human Rights, on Youth and Sports, on Regional Issues and on Culture.

She also noted that increase is also forecasted in the ICT sector. Thus, growth by 5.1% next year and 6% in following years is expected in this sector.

According to her, 15.9 million AZN of investment is forecasted in the country's economy in 2018.

Hasanova added that systematic measures to further improve the business environment in Azerbaijan will continue.
