The Russian Federal Agency for Tourism (Rostourism) is considering the possibility of creating a single standard in Russia for the provision of hotel services on an all-inclusive basis, Report informs, referring to Kommersant newspaper.
Such an order was given to the agency by Russian Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko.
Rostourism was also obliged to inform by March 5 whether it would be profitable to include measures to promote an all-inclusive standard within the country's national tourism development project.
Currently, Rostourism is working on this issue.
Russian hotels understand the 'all inclusive' system in different ways. So, in some establishments, guests are offered five meals a day. In others, they get the opportunity to eat 24 hours a day. In some hotels, alcoholic beverages are included, and in others, they are not.
To eliminate misunderstandings on the part of tourists, Rostourism intends to improve the current rules for the classification of hotels, highlighting separately the categories 'all inclusive' and 'ultra all-inclusive.'
