Revenues of Azerbaijani hotels grow by 63%

In the first half of 2022, the revenues of Azerbaijani hotels increased by 63.1% compared to the same period in 2021 and amounted to 147 million manats ($86 million), Report informs referring to the State Statistics Committee.

Some 58.4% of half yearly revenue was received from services for the provision of rooms, 28.5% from catering services, 3.2% from treatment and rehabilitation services, and 9.9% from the provision of other services.

During the reporting period, the one-time capacity utilization of hotels and hotel-type facilities at 12.4%, which is 3.4 percentage points more than a year ago. This figure was 90% in Shabran, 26.5% in Guba, 26.7% in Beylagan, 16.4% in Gusar, 27% in Naftalan, 19.6% in Aghjabadi, 12.8% in Goychay, 17.2% in Sabirabad, 16.4% in Gabala, 18.6% in Baku, 17.6% Lankaran. In other cities and districts, this figure was below the national average.
