Number of people visiting Georgia from Azerbaijan grew 2.6 times

In the first quarter of this year, 29,337 people from Azerbaijan visited Georgia, according to the National Tourism Administration of Georgia, the Georgian bureau of Report informs.

According to the document, this is 18,023 people or 2.6 times more than in the same period last year.

During the reporting period, the largest number of visits to Georgia from Azerbaijan fell on March (14,554 people).

The total number of guests who visited Georgia in January-March amounted to 576,503 people, which is 4.2 times more year-on-year.
