Permanent structures will not be allowed on beaches in Azerbaijan, Murad Aghabayli, Chairman of the Board of the Reserves Management Center (RMC) under the Azerbaijan State Tourism Agency, told Report.
According to him, only lightweight, temporary structures may be installed in beach areas.
"Under current legislation, permanent construction in coastal zones is prohibited, as it may obstruct public access. Beaches are public spaces and must remain open for free use by everyone. Only container-type lightweight structures are permitted," the official added.
