Most of Azerbaijani citizens travel to Iran, Georgia, and Russia

In the first quarter of 2020, the number of Azerbaijanis traveling to foreign countries dropped 23.3% to 932,500 people, Report informs, citing the State Statistical Committee (SCC).

According to the information, 34.1% of travelers went to Iran, 30% to Georgia, 20.4% to Russia, 9.8% to Turkey, 5.7% to other countries. 68.5% of travelers were men, 31.5% - women.

In the reporting period, the number of Azerbaijani citizens traveling to Iran, Turkey, Georgia, and Russia has declined by respectively 32.8%, 23.8%, 16.7%, and 13.8%.
