Azerbaijan's tourism agency official calls for implementation of joint projects with ECO states

It is important to implement projects in tourism sector along with the member states of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO), Kanan Gasimov, the Chief of Staff of the State Tourism Agency of Azerbaijan, said at the 1st ECO Tour Operators Forum held today in Baku, Report informs.

Gasimov said that joint cooperation will be an important contribution to activities in this field: "The State Tourism Agency is doing important work in the direction of the development of the tourism industry in Azerbaijan. We support institutions operating in this sector in the country.

According to him, Baku is already becoming a favorite tourist city for visitors of various countries: ‘I hope that we will achieve this together with ECO countries.’

It is reported that official representatives of tourism related state institutions of nine member states of the ECO and representatives of the tourism industry are participating in the forum.
