How many Azerbaijani tourists visited Uzbekistan this year?

As many as 5,100 Azerbaijani citizens entered Uzbekistan for tourism purposes in January-July 2022, taking 13th place, according to the State Statistics Committee, Report informs referring to Uzbek media.

In the reporting period, 2.416 million foreign citizens arrived in Uzbekistan. This is a growth by 1.296 million people or 2.2 times compared to the corresponding period of 2021 (1.120 million people in 2021),

The citizens of Kazakhstan (716,700 people), Kyrgyzstan (675,100 people), Tajikistan (637,000 people), Russia (247,200 people), Turkiye (38,600 people), etc. constituted the majority of travelers arriving in Uzbekistan for tourism purposes.
