Foreigners spend $1 billion in Azerbaijan in nine months

The transactions carried out by foreign citizens in Azerbaijan via bank cards amounted to 1 657.7 million manats ($1 billion) in January-September 2022, up 97.7% from the previous year, Report informs, citing the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication.

In September alone, the volume of transactions via bank cards amounted to 155.5 million manats ($91.47 million), 25% more than in the same period last year.
