Foreign diplomats informed about Azerbaijan's tourism opportunities

The State Tourism Agency held a destination presentation of Azerbaijan for representatives of the diplomatic corps of foreign countries accredited in the country, Report informs, citing the agency.

According to the agency, employees of more than 60 diplomatic missions and international organizations operating in Azerbaijan, ambassadors extraordinary and plenipotentiary, attaches and secretaries took part in the event, which was organized to promote Azerbaijan's tourism opportunities.

Speaking at the presentation, the head of the agency's staff, Kanan Gasimov, emphasized the importance of the event in terms of sharing Azerbaijan's tourism experiences and implemented activities.

At the event, video clips on Azerbaijan's tourism potential were played, and Javanshir Bayramov, deputy chairman of the Board of the Azerbaijan Tourism Bureau, made a presentation.

In the presentation, the participants were informed about the basic principles and priorities of the tourism strategy of the Azerbaijan Tourism Bureau, statistical indicators of incoming tourism, events planned in the target markets this year, media and marketing activities, the main tourism routes of Azerbaijan, tourism services and products, initiatives aimed at the development of the tourism industry, and other topics.
