Direct flights between cities of Azerbaijan and China may be restored

Azerbaijan and China discussed the restoration of direct flights between the cities of the two countries, the Azerbaijani Minister of Digital Development and Transport, Rashad Nabiyev, said on X, Report informs.

“During the visit to China, we met with representatives of the country's leading airlines and tourism sector. The opening of direct flights between the cities of the two countries was discussed. It was emphasized that the increase of the directions and the frequency of flights will contribute to the development of tourism relations.”

Azerbaijan Airlines CJSC (AZAL) once made flights to the capital of China, Beijing, as well as to the city of Urumqi of this country.
