Brazilian official: Azerbaijan has great potential in halal tourism

Azerbaijan has great potential in halal tourism, and the work done in this area will help the country reach significant positions in the tourism sector, Fernanda Baltazar, Director of Institutional Relations at the Arab-Brazilian Chamber of Commerce, said at the Azerbaijan Halal Business and Tourism Forum held in Baku, Report informs.

"As the chamber, we highly appreciate the steps taken by Azerbaijan in this field and see great opportunities for closer cooperation in the future," Baltazar noted.

"Halal business is not limited to the food industry only. It also covers cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, clothing, tourism, and many other areas. Brazilian companies have extensive experience in these fields, and we offer innovative products and services that meet the requirements of halal standards. Closer cooperation with Islamic countries in this direction and expanding access to new markets are among our main priorities," added Baltazar.
