Preparation of joint tourism projects between Azerbaijan and Turkiye, an increase of cooperation opportunities, and organization of promotional information tours for the tourism industry representatives were discussed at the meeting of Goydaniz Gahramanov, Chairman of the Board of the Azerbaijan Tourism Agencies Association (ATAA), and Kanan Guluzade, Advisor to the Chairman of the State Tourism Agency (DTA), with Yalcin Logmanhekim, the Head of the Tourism Promotion and Development Agency of Turkiye (TGA), on September 27 as part of their business trip to Turkiye, Report informs.
At the meeting, the sides exchanged ideas on conducting B2B (business-to-business) format meetings, exchange of experience, and other issues.
At the same time, the expansion of joint cooperation between the Azerbaijan Tourism Bureau and the Turkish Tourism Promotion and Development Agency and the organization of tourism-oriented events were discussed.
Within the framework of the meeting, Yalcin Logmanhekim was given detailed information about the tourism potential of Azerbaijan, the possibilities of the country's summer and winter tourism centers, and available tourism products.
The General Director of TGA said that the organization he leads is always interested in cooperation with Azerbaijan, and will continue to support the development of the two brotherly countries in tourism.
On September 27, ATAA Board Chairman Goydaniz Gahramanov also met with the Istanbul Director of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Turkiye, Coskun Yilmaz.
During the discussions, opinions were exchanged on the development of tourism relations between Baku and Istanbul, increasing the number of tourist trips and flights, mutual promotion of tourism products, and other issues.
Within the meeting, Goydeniz Gahramanov invited Coskun Yilmaz to Baku to expand cooperation opportunities.
