Azerbaijan sees eightfold decrease in outbound tourism

The number of Azerbaijani citizens traveling abroad in the first quarter of 2021 dropped by 8.4-fold to 111,100 people, Report informs, referring to the State Statistical Committee.
Among the citizens, 45.2% traveled to Turkey, 19.7% to Russia, 9.2% to Georgia, 6.9% to Iran, 19% to other countries. Three-quarters of travelers were men, one quarter - women.
