Azerbaijan's tourism opportunities promoted in Scandinavian countries

The Azerbaijan Tourism Board has promoted the country's tourism opportunities by participating in a series of events called Nordic Roadshow organized by Aviareps company, Report informs, citing the State Tourism Agency.

The events were held in Stockholm, Sweden; Helsinki, Finland; Oslo, Norway; and Copenhagen, Denmark, with each event attended by up to 50 local tourism companies and media representatives.

During the events, which included tourism boards from various countries, airlines, international hotel brands, and cruise companies, B2B meetings were held, and information about Azerbaijan's culture, history, nature, and tourism products was shared.

This is the Azerbaijan Tourism Board's first event participation in Scandinavian countries.

From January through October 2024, a total of 6,898 people from Sweden, Finland, Norway, and Denmark visited Azerbaijan, which is 24% more year-on-year.
