Azerbaijan eager to attract foreign investors to development of tourism in Karabakh, East Zangazur regions

The government of Azerbaijan is negotiating with investors from the CIS countries, Türkiye, Israel and Russia for the development of tourism in the liberated territories, Chairman of the State Tourism Agency, Fuad Naghiyev, told journalists, Report informs.
“We have promotion mechanisms related to tourism. We are negotiating with both local and foreign investors regarding investments in tourism, including the liberated territories. Several investors are still interested in the city of Shaki. These are projects implemented in public and private sector partnerships related to the restoration and development of certain historical monuments. They are currently being discussed,” he stressed.
