5% of Russian citizens planning to visit Azerbaijan

4.7% of Russian citizens who want to travel abroad this year are eager to visit Azerbaijan, Report informs, citing foreign media.

According to the information, 54% of the citizens of the neighboring country plan to go to Georgia, 12% to Armenia, 10% to Türkiye, 2.8% to Kyrgyzstan, and 2.7% to Uzbekistan.

Despite all the restrictions and difficulties, the demand for European Union (EU) countries has increased. now this rate is 6%. The rate of the Russian citizens planning to travel to the EU countries increased to 6%, while this figure 0.1% last year. Most tours were booked to Denmark, France, and Italy.
