Ukrainian referee and children’s basketball coach Yuriy Nemchenko died in a battle with Russia, Report informs, citing foreign media.
From the first days of the war, Nemchenko stood at Ukraine's defense against Russia. He died near Hulyaipol, Zaporizhzhia region.
Nemchenko refereed matches of the first league of Ukraine in basketball and also worked as a coach at the Zaporizhzhia Youth Sports School.
