Representatives of European Volleyball Confederation arrive in Baku

Representatives of the European Volleyball Confederation (CEV) have arrived in Baku, the press service of the Azerbaijan Volleyball Federation told Report.

Representatives of the organizing committee and employees of İnfort, a partner of CEV with broadcasting rights, arrived in Baku to familiarize themselves with preparations for the 2026 European Championship.

The guests visited the National Gymnastics Arena, where the matches will take place, as well as the hotels where the volleyball players will be accommodated.

The matches of one group of the European Championship will be held at the National Gymnastics Arena in Baku. The competitions will take place between August 21 and September 6. As part of EURO-2026, the 24 best teams in Europe will compete in four groups. The matches of the other groups will be hosted by the Czech Republic, Sweden, and Türkiye.
