Azerbaijani basketballer on house arrest invited to training camp

The Azerbaijan Basketball Federation has invited Amil Hamzayev, who is currently under house arrest, to a training camp in the Goygol region.

Zaur Niftaliyev, the 30-year-old player's lawyer, told Report. He said that Hamzayev would apply to the relevant investigative body to attend the preparation process.

Former Azerbaijani national team player Jamshid Maharramov and former national team basketball player Amil Hamzayev, accused of the fixed games, have been released from house arrest.
