Azerbaijan to lodge complaint with IOC over statements by France 2 TV hosts

Azerbaijan is set to file a complaint with the International Olympic Committee (IOC) regarding derogatory remarks made about Baku during the live broadcast of the Olympic Games opening ceremony on French television channel France 2, according to Report.

"The complaint is being prepared. We are currently finalizing its text. We will try to submit the complaint to the IOC today," said the vice-president of the National Olympic Committee (NOC) of Azerbaijan, Chingiz Huseynzada.

He added that the National Olympic Committee will disseminate the text of the complaint through its channels.
