Azerbaijan’s ASAN Service has gained popularity due to the practicality, accessibility and efficiency of its activities, Chairman of the State Agency for Citizen Services and Social Innovation under the President Ulvi Mehdiyev said.
He was speaking during the international forum “Path to Cutting-edge Governance: Moving Towards Sustainable and Innovative Public Services” held in Baku on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the establishment of ASAN Service, Report informs.
Mehdiyev noted that without the leadership and support of President Ilham Aliyev, ASAN would not have reached such heights.
According to Mehdiyev, one of the goals of creating ASAN was to eradicate corruption and bureaucratic delays in the provision of public services.
He noted that ASAN is already exporting its experience to interested countries.
Over the years, the ASAN model has received a number of awards for excellence, but the State Agency continues to improve the quality of its services, listening to the feedback from visitors, who, through a special index, evaluate the quality of the structure’s work, he added.
