Ministry: Social shelters shift to reinforced work regime due to hazardous weather conditions

Baku. 16 January. REPORT.AZ/ Social shelters of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Population will work in reinforced mode in connection with the extreme hazardous hydrometeorological event expected from January 17 till January 18 in Azerbaijan, Report informs citing the Ministry.

It was noted that due to the dangerous weather conditions, homeless persons in need of shelter will be accommodated in a social shelter and rehabilitation center in accordance with their age.

Relevant headquarters was established for this purpose. The contact numbers of the headquarters: (050) 669 33 66, (070) 669 33 66.

Persons in need of social shelter in hazardous weather conditions are advised to call the above numbers as well as the Ministry's contact center 142 and report their current location.

Those placed in shelters will be provided with bedding, food and primary health care.
