Sahil Babayev: 'We are aimed at attracting qualified specialists to self-employment programs'

Azerbaijan plans to involve 20,000 unemployed in vocational training this year, Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of Azerbaijan Sahil Babayev said at a joint meeting of the Milli Majlis Committee on Economic Policy, Industry and Entrepreneurship and the Committee on Labor and Social Policy, according to Report.

"Our goal is to train 30,000 people a year. In particular, we are striving to quickly employ qualified people, as well as to attract them to self-employment programs. But the ministry's capacity is not enough for this. Therefore, we also cooperate with private partners. More significant steps may be required," the minister said.
