Sahil Babayev: Proposals prepared to increase minimum wage, pension from 2025 in Azerbaijan

Based on the instruction of Azerbaijan's President Ilham Aliyev, the minimum wage and pension will be increased from 2025, and relevant proposals have been prepared in this regard, Minister of Labor and Social Protection of Population Sahil Babayev said at the ministry's board meeting, Report informs.
He also noted that more than 20 draft regulatory legal acts have been prepared for the establishment of non-state pension funds.
Presently, 52 types of benefits and pensions are assigned proactively in Azerbaijan, and work continues to expand the coverage of the proactive mechanism for assigning social payments, he said.
