Number of marriages increases in Azerbaijan

The number of marriages increased in Azerbaijan this year, Report informs, citing the State Statistics Committee.

According to the information, the district (city) registration departments of the Ministry of Justice registered 9,606 marriages and 2,505 divorces. The number of marriages has increased from 3.5 to 5.9 for every 1000 people and the number of divorces remained unchanged compared to the same period of last year.
