Number of Azerbaijani population disclosed

The population of Azerbaijan makes up 10,131,373 people as of February 1 of this year.

Report informs, citing the State Statistics Committee, that urban residents account for 54.6% of the population and rural population made up 45.4%.

Meanwhile, men were responsible for 49.8% of the population and the share of women reached 50.2%.
