Minimum pension to reach AZN 200 from October 1 in Azerbaijan

"The order about increase of minimum wages will cover more than 500,000 employees in the state sector," Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Protection of Population Anar Aliyev told REAL TV.

According to him, the increase will be applied in all fields: "According to the analysis we conducted, wages of nearly 300,000 employees in the private sector will increase."

The Deputy Minister noted that the minimum pension will reach AZN 200 from October 1: "This is about 25% growth and will concern nearly 700,000 people."
