Felix Gutzwiller: Women's economic empowerment important for Azerbaijan's development

The expansion of women's economic rights is very important for the future development of Azerbaijan, Felix Gutzwiller, President of the Swiss Consultative Commission for International Cooperation, said, according to Report.

He noted that every woman who studies business in Azerbaijan can make her contribution to the development of the country.

In turn, the head of the Swiss mission in Azerbaijan, Alexander Hoffet, stressed that bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Switzerland cover various areas of cooperation.

According to Hoffet, since 2018, Switzerland has been supporting the development of women's economic opportunities in Azerbaijan: "To this day, not all women are equal in social and economic spheres. Therefore, the fight to eliminate this inequality should continue, this is very important."
