COVID-19 outpatients entitled to benefits while under treatment - official

"As the coronavirus infection is considered a common disease in Azerbaijan, people infected with the virus are paid benefits for temporary loss of ability to work during the isolation," Huseyn Pashayev, director of the Central Branch of the State Social Protection Fund for Social Insurance and Personal Accounting under the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Population, said, Report informs.

He said that during the first 14 days, the benefit is paid by the insurer, and if it is over 14 days, the remaining funds are paid by the compulsory state social insurance.
