Azerbaijan underpays retirement pension over to 2,000 pensioners

Over the past year or two, more than 2,000 people have been underpaid retirement pensions. After this was revealed, the retirement pensions of those persons were recalculated, Shahin Aliyev, director of the Central Branch for Appointment on Special Conditions of the State Social Protection Fund of Azerbaijan (SSF), Report informs.

According to him, on average, the amount of pensions has been increased from 633 manats to 739 manats.

"This contingent received over 3 million manats, which should have been paid for the past period. These funds are being paid."
