Azerbaijan to issue 2-year work permit for foreigners working in liberated territories

Foreigners involved in labor activities in the liberated territories of Azerbaijan will be given a work permit for a period of 2 years, Report informs, citing amendments in the Migration Code approved by President Ilham Aliyev.
With the amendment, the term of the work permit for foreigners and stateless persons involved in labor activities in the liberated territories of the Republic of Azerbaijan can be extended for no more than 2 years each time.
The amendments will be effective from January 1, 2023, to January 1, 2028.
